(Salem, OR) -- Oregon is joining 22 states in a lawsuit against the federal government over gender-affirming care. Last year, Health and Human Services proposed ending federal reimbursement for Medicaid patients under 18 and Children's Health Insurance Program patients under 19 for gender-affirming care, even though the same treatments remain covered for other youth.
