(Portland, OR) -- Portland City Council has passed a resolution on data centers. It doesn't ban them. It urges the City Administrator to not sign data center non-disclosure agreements, notify council about data center deals and commits to a transparent public process. The Council will also explore a moratorium or zoning restrictions on hyperscale data centers, and look for additional approaches for large-load data centers.
