(Stayton, OR) -- A Stayton man is facing charges after a shooting left another man injured Friday evening. Police say 48-year-old Scott Poindexter was arrested early Saturday after investigators identified him as a suspect in the shooting near Fifth Avenue and Santiam Street. The victim was taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound, but his condition has not been released. Poindexter faces charges including first-degree assault and unlawful use of a firearm.
