Bank Fraud Indictment

(Portland, OR) -- Three Oregon men have been indicted by a federal grand jury for alleged bank fraud. Federal prosecutors say they stole checks and altered them, so they could be deposited under their sham business called Pacific Swift Logistics. They recruited other people to help. They would deposit the altered checks and then withdraw the money before the bank could flag the account. The three suspects pleaded not guilty. Their trial is scheduled for November.
