(Portland, OR) -- A natural gas-fed fire forced an evacuation of neighbors in Southeast Portland Tuesday morning. A garage and three cars at a townhouse were burning. A ruptured gas meter was feeding the fire. Northwest Natural crews responded to turn off the gas. Portland General Electric crews dealt with a downed power line. The fire caused significant damage. No injuries were reported. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
