Oregon Recovers Nearly $33 Million For Consumers

(Salem, OR) -- The State of Oregon is picking up where the federal government has stopped protecting consumers. President Trump unsuccessfully tried to dismantle the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The Oregon Division of Financial Regulation stepped up and took over investigations. They helped Oregonians with claims involving insurance, mortgages, banking products, student loans, securities and other financial services. Since 2023, they've collected nearly 33-million-dollars that was owed to consumers.
