Amber Alert Child Found Safe

(Beaverton, OR) -- A three-year-old boy who was the subject of an Amber Alert from Beaverton this week has been found safe. The non-custodial mother of Joshua Ovalles allegedly took the boy after a judge granted temporary custody to his father. The court had determined Mari Martinez was a threat to Joshua. Martinez dropped Joshua off at a Lake Oswego home of a trusted individual. She was later located by police and arrested. Joshua was returned to his father. Martinez is charged with Custodial Interference and Kidnapping.
