Arrest Made After Suspected Shoplifter Dropped Gun

(Portland, OR)  --  One suspect is in custody and another is at large after a man suspected of shoplifting at the Lloyd Center Macy's dropped a gun while struggling with loss-prevention officers.  Portland police say the suspect and a companion ran out of the store last night after picking up the weapon and fled in a vehicle, which was tracked down by responding officers.  Authorities say both suspects got out of the car and fled on foot in the area of Northeast 7th Avenue and Prescott Street.  Police were able to apprehend one suspect, but the other one remains on the loose.  The gun hasn't been recovered.
