At Least 24 Believed Dead In Mudslide

(Arlington, WA)  --  The death toll is expected to rise to at least 24 following the massive mudslide along the Stillaguamish River in Snohomish County, Washington.  Officials say two more bodies were recovered from the debris yesterday, and another eight were located but not yet recovered.  Snohomish County Fire District 21 Chief Travis Hots says the other eight fatalities won't be officially counted until the bodies are recovered and taken to the medical examiner.  Crews have been using dog teams in their search, and are expected to bring in additional dog teams today to assist in going over the square-mile debris area.
