(Salem, OR)  --  Governor John Kitzhaber says the deadline to apply for private health insurance through Cover Oregon has been delayed until April 30th.  The governor says the federal government has granted the state the extension.  Oregonians must now have their applications faxed or postmarked by the 30th of April.  The delay was granted because of persistent problems with the Cover Oregon website.
