Woman Dies After Being Shocked By Power Lines

(Beaverton, OR)  --  Beaverton police say a woman who died after climbing a high-voltage electrical tower may have committed suicide.  Officers arrived at the intersection of Southwest 160th Avenue and Village Lane around nine a.m. yesterday and found the woman lying on the ground but still alive.  Officials say the woman, who was shocked by the power lines, died after being taken to a hospital.  Police say the woman was taking medication for schizophrenia and had been on an alcohol and meth binge Saturday night.
