(Beaverton, OR)  --  A Beaverton teacher is in trouble with the law after being accused of harassing a student in his class.  Forty-year-old Larry Coates, who's a band teacher at Whitford Middle School, is alleged to have made unwanted physical contact during a confrontation yesterday with the student, though the contact was not sexual in nature.  Coates was booked on two counts of harassment.  He's now free on his own recognizance.
