(Portland, OR)  --  There will be no faculty strike at Portland State University.  A tentative contract agreement has been reached between the school's administration and the American Association of University Professors.  The agreement was reached following a marathon negotiating session that began Friday and ended around 5:30 yesterday morning.  The new pact includes higher faculty salaries and more money for professional development travel.
