(Portland, OR)  --  Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton says American politics needs more compromise and less partisan divide.  The former first lady made the remarks yesterday at Portland's Keller Auditorium during a meeting of the World Affairs Council of Oregon.  Clinton spoke of her fight for gender equality, saying "no country can truly thrive by holding down the contributions of half of its people."  The former U.S. senator from New York is considered an early front-runner for the Democratic nomination for president in 2016, though she hasn't said whether she will run.
