Teen Pleads Guilty In Synthetic-drug OD Case

(Sherwood, OR)  --  A 17-year-old boy will be sentenced next month after pleading guilty in connection to a drug overdose by two girls in Sherwood.  The teen entered the plea yesterday to unlawful possession of a controlled substance, but charges of distribution were dropped as part of the plea deal.  Authorities say the girls, ages 16 and 17, overdosed in January on "25i," a synthetic drug that's classified as a hallucinogen.  Both girls suffered seizures and were hospitalized.
