(Juneau, AK) -- FEMA is approving nearly five-million-dollars in Public Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant funding for projects in Oregon, Washington and Alaska. Hood River County will receive 100-thousand-dollars for debris removal from a 2025 storm. In Washington, Tacoma will get 115-thousand-dollars for storm damage. And Alaska will receive two-million-dollars for suppression of the 2019 Shovel Creek Fire.
