(Hillsboro, OR) -- The Washington County Board of Commissioners has passed a resolution concerning data centers. It supports work by the Oregon Data Center Advisory Committee to study data centers, and supports communities that have implemented moratoriums. They don't support large-scale data centers in unincorporated Washington County or the use of tax incentives to lure data centers. There are currently no standalone data centers in the county and there's no undeveloped land in unincorporated areas where a data center could be built.
