(Medford, OR) -- For the fourth year in a row, an Oregon bat has won the Bureau of Land Management's Bat Beauty Contest. It's held during bat week, which leads up to Halloween. A bat named Ryan GosWING, a pallid bat from Oregon, earned the most votes. They have very large ears and a smaller face. Some biologists say they're similar looking to puppies. Pallid bats primarily hunt by sound, using their large ears to find insects moving on the ground.
