(Eugene, OR) -- The Lane County Elections Office resumed counting ballots on Thursday after an inkjet line clogged on a sorting machine. County Clerk Tommy Gong says the sorting equipment is older, which may have contributed to the issue. Updated results were posted Thursday night, with another round to be posted Friday at 5 p.m. The last batch will post next Friday at 5 p.m. after all mailed ballots postmarked by election day have been processed.
