Committee: Cover Oregon Exchange Should Be Scrapped

(Salem, OR)  --  A technological advisory committee is recommending that the Cover Oregon health-care exchange be scrapped.  The panel says the state should switch to the federal exchange, which would cost about five-million dollars.  Cover Oregon consultant Deloitte says that's compared to the estimated 78-million it would take to partially fix the Cover Oregon website.  The Cover Oregon board is scheduled to vote on the recommendation when it meets today.
