(Eugene, OR)  --  The Oregon Ducks got a belated Christmas present.  Quarterback Justin Herbert, who was projected to be a likely top-10 pick in the 2019 draft, announced he will return to Oregon for his senior season.  Herbert threw for 2,985 yards and 28 touchdowns as a junior.  He has thrown for a touchdown in 27 straight games, the longest active streak. He is 96 yards shy of 7,000 career aerial yards.



(Santa Clara, CA)  -- The Ducks are preparing for a New Year's Eve Redbox Bowl game against Michigan State at Levi's Stadium in the San Francisco Bay area.  Oregon is 8-and-4.  The Spartans bring in a 7-and-5 record.  Oregon will be making its 32nd bowl appearance.



(Undated)  --  Oregon will visit Boise State on Saturday.  The Ducks are 8-and-4 on the year.  Also on Saturday, Oregon State will host Central Connecticut State and the Portland Pilots will visit Cal State Fullerton.  Portland State hosts Northern Colorado on Monday.



(Oakland, CA)  --  The Trail Blazers will play the Warriors tonight at Oracle Arena in Oakland.  Portland is 6-and-10 on the road this season.  The Warriors are 15-and-4 at home.  Golden State won the first meeting of the two 125-97 on November 23rd in Oakland.  The two teams will meet again on Saturday in Portland. 



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks will take on the Cardinals at CenturyLink Field in their regular season finale Sunday.  Seattle is locked into a Wild Card berth and will be playing a playoff game next weekend.  Arizona has won four of its last five games in Seattle.  Doug Baldwin did not participate in practice because of a shoulder issue.  Baldwin has already dealt with injuries to both knees, his groin, hip and elbow since training camp.



(Undated)  --  Oregon will visit Boise State on Saturday.  The Ducks are 8-and-4 on the year.  Elsewhere in action on Saturday, Oregon State will welcome Central Connecticut State to town while Portland will visit Cal State Fullerton.  Portland State hosts Northern Colorado on Monday.



(Salt Lake City, UT)  --  Portland fell 117-96 to the Jazz in Salt Lake City.  Damian Lillard led the Trail Blazers with 20 points in the loss.  The Trail Blazers will visit Golden State tomorrow night.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks are preparing for their regular season finale against the Cardinals at home.  Seattle is locked into a Wild Card berth and will be playing a playoff game next weekend.  The Cardinals have won in four of their last five trips to Seattle. 



(Oakland, CA)  --  The Lakers are holding their breath following an injury to All-Star forward LeBron James.  He left in the third quarter of Tuesday's win over the Warriors with a groin injury and didn't return.  James is scheduled to undergo an MRI on Wednesday.  He recorded 17 points and 13 rebounds in 21 minutes before getting hurt.  The Lakers ended up winning the game 127-101 over the defending champion Warriors.  



(Portland, OR)  --  Damian Lillard scored 24 points to lead the Trail Blazers to a 99-92 win over the Grizzlies in Portland.  Meyers Leonard scored 12 off the bench for Portland.  C.J. McCollum chipped in 11 for the Trail Blazers, who have won five of their last seven to improve to 18-and-13.  Portland will host Utah on Friday night.



(Undated)  --  Portland State will be in action tonight when they host Cal State Bakersfield.  The Vikings are 5-and-5 on the campaign.  Oregon will be back on the floor tomorrow night when they visit Baylor.  The Ducks are 8-and-3 in non-conference play.  Also in action tomorrow, Oregon State will welcome Kent State to town while Portland will play host to visiting Florida A&M.



(Undated)  --  It was a big day for Oregon, which had 22 recruits sign their letters of intent to play with the program in 2019.  According to Rivals, The Ducks resurgence in recruiting has them seventh in the nation and tops in the Pac-12.



(Renton, WA)  --  Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll announced that safety Bradley McDougald is not with the team as he is getting treatment on his knee.  According to Carroll, the safety is expected to be back with the team tomorrow. His status for Sunday Night Football against the Chiefs is unclear.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks remain at work as they get ready to host the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football.  Seattle fell 26-23 in San Francisco on Sunday.  Seattle is 8-and-6 and can clinch a playoff berth with a win.  The Chiefs come in with a 11-and-3 record as they battle for the top seed in the AFC.



(Undated)  --  Early National Signing Day kicks off across the country today.  Rivals currently has Oregon's 2019 class at fifth in the nation and tops in the Pac-12.  Oregon State begins the signing period with 15 commitments.
 



(Portland, OR)  --  The Trail Blazers are back at home tonight when they welcome the Grizzlies to town.  Portland has won two-straight games and is 17-and-13.  The Grizzlies are right behind them at 16-and-14.



(Undated)  --  Portland State will be on the floor tomorrow night when they host CSU Bakersfield.  Friday night, Oregon State will host Kent State while Portland will host Florida A&M.
 



(Eugene, OR)  --  Victor Bailey Jr. scored 16 points to lead Oregon to a 71-64 victory over Florida A&M in Eugene.  Paul White also added 13 for the Ducks, who improved to 8-and-3.  The Ducks will visit Baylor on Friday.
 



(Seattle, WA)  --  Punter Michael Dickson and linebacker Bobby Wagner will be representing the Seahawks and the NFC in the Pro Bowl in Orlando.  Dickson is the first rookie punter to make the Pro Bowl since 1985.  Wagner earned his fifth selection overall.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks will have their hands full when they host Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football in Seattle.  The Seahawks are 8-and-6 and are looking to remain atop the NFC Wild Card standings and can clinch a playoff spot with a win. Linebacker K.J. Wright is expected to make his return from injury this week.  Kansas City is 11-and-3 and trying to hold onto the top spot in the AFC. 



(Eugene, OR)  --  Oregon hoops returns to action tonight as it hosts Florida A&M.  The Ducks are 7-and-3 on the year and have won three straight games.  FAMU enters at 3-and-9. 



(Corvallis, OR)  --  Tres Tinkle put up 21 points as Oregon State edged Pepperdine 82-67 in Corvallis.  The Beavers led by 10 after one half and never looked back.  They're now 7-and-3.  In other hoops action last night, Portland fell to Seattle 67-56.



(Los Angeles, CA)  --  Damian Lillard put up 39 points as the Blazers edged the Clippers 131-127 in Los Angeles.  C.J. McCollum added 27 points and the Blazers shot 10-of-20 from beyond the arc.  They have won two straight games and host the Grizzlies tomorrow. 



(Eugene, OR)  --  The Oregon Ducks continue prepping for the Redbox Bowl, which kicks off on New Year's Eve at Levi's Stadium.  Oregon finished the regular season at 8-and-4 and it will face 7-and-5 Michigan State.  The 2-and-10 Oregon State Beavers will not be bowling this year. 



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks are gearing up for a big game against the Chiefs at CenturyLink Field on Sunday Night Football this week.  Seattle is 8-and-6 and holding on to the top NFC Wild Card spot.  They can clinch a playoff berth with a win.  Kansas City is 11-and-3 and fighting to the top seed in the AFC.  In other team news, linebacker K.J. Wright and offensive lineman D.J. Fluker are both on pace to make their return from injury this week. 
 



(Los Angeles, CA)  -- The Trail Blazers will be back in action tonight when the visit the Clippers in Los Angeles.  The Trail Blazers are coming off a 128-122 win over the Raptors at home on Friday.  Portland is 16-and-13 on the season.



(Santa Clara, CA)  --  Russell Wilson threw for 237 yards and two touchdowns as the Seahawks fell 26-23 in overtime to the 49ers in Santa Clara on Sunday.  Chris Carson rushed for 119 yards and a touchdown.  Doug Baldwin had 77 yards receiving and two touchdowns for Seattle, which had a four-game winning streak snapped to fall to 8-and-6.  They will host the Chiefs on Sunday Night Football this week.



(Undated)  --  Oregon will be back in action tomorrow night when they host Florida A&M.  The Ducks defeated Boise State 66-54 on Saturday.  Elsewhere in action on Saturday, Oregon State fell 67-64 to Texas A&M in Portland, while Portland State lost 85-58 to Loyola Marymount.  Oregon State will host Pepperdine tonight.  Portland State will host Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday.  Portland fell 70-58 to Grambling State on Saturday.  They will host Seattle tonight.



(Eugene, OR)  -- The Oregon Ducks got a huge boost over the weekend when Kayvon Thibodeaux announced his commitment to the program.  Thibodeaux is a defensive end and the number-one high school recruit in the nation.  Early National Signing Day will take place on Wednesday, where the Ducks are expected to land more commitments.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners had the hot stove burning once again over the weekend.  The Mariners, Indians and Rays completed a three-team deal that sent slugger Edwin Encarnacion from Cleveland to Seattle along with a compensatory draft selection.  The Indians received Carlos Santana, who the Mariners received in the Jean Segura trade earlier this month.  Tampa Bay received a prospect from Cleveland.  It's unclear whether Seattle will keep Encarnacion or flip him in a later deal.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks will get back to work ahead of a huge showdown with Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs at home on Sunday Night Football this week.  Seattle lost 26-23 to the 49ers in Overtime on Sunday.  Seattle is 8-and-6 and still in the driver's seat for a Wild Card spot.  Kansas City is 11-and-3 and coming off a 29-28 loss to the Chargers on Thursday Night Football.



(Memphis, TN)  --  C.J. McCollum scored 40 points in defeat as the Trail Blazers fell 92-83 to the Grizzlies in Memphis.  Damian Lillard chipped in with 14 points for Portland, which has lost five of its last seven.  The Trail Blazers will return home to host Toronto tomorrow night.



(Eugene, OR)  --  Bol Bol scored 20 points to lead the Ducks to a 65-55 win over San Diego at home last night.  Payton Pritchard added 12 for Oregon, which has won two straight to move to 6-and-3.  The Ducks will host Boise State on Saturday.



(Undated)  --  Portland State suffered an 85-66 loss to BYU in Provo last night.  The Vikings will host Loyola Marymount on Saturday night.  Oregon State will take on Texas A&M in the Dam City Classic in Portland on Saturday.  The Beavers are 6-and-2.  Elsewhere on Saturday, Portland will host Grambling State.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks continue to get ready for their road tilt against the 49ers.  Seattle is coming off a 21-7 win over the Vikings on Monday Night Football, which was its fourth straight win.  At 8-and-5, Seattle is in the driver's seat to make the playoffs as a wild card.  The 49ers improved to 3-and-10 with a 20-14 win over Denver on Sunday.



(Las Vegas, NV)  --  The Mariners have their eye on Japanese lefty Yusei Kikuchi.  The Mariners met with Kikuchi's representation on Tuesday, according to The Seattle Times.  Seattle has built a pipeline for talent from Japan over their franchise history.  Kikuchi is represented by Scott Boras and they plan to meet with interested teams in Los Angeles.



(Houston, TX)  --  Damian Lillard scored a game-high 34 points, but it was not enough for the Trail Blazers, who lost 111-104 to the Rockets in Houston.  C.J. McCollum contributed 22 points in defeat.  The Blazers had their two-game winning streak snapped.



(Undated)  --  Tonight:  Oregon will be back on the court when the Ducks host San Diego and Portland State will be at BYU in a West Coast Conference game.  Saturday:  6-and-2 Oregon State will play Texas A&M in Portland at Moda Center in the Dam City Classic and Portland will host Grambling State at Chiles Center.



(Memphis, TN)  --  The Blazers are back in action tonight facing the Grizzlies in Memphis.  The Grizzlies are 8-and-4 at home.  Memphis is holding opponents to 102.8 points per game.  The Blazers lost 114-104 last night in Houston.  The Portland bench was outscored 37-to-13 in the defeat.  The Blazers have dropped seven of their last nine away games.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks will try to extend their winning streak to five straight on Sunday when they go to San Francisco.  Seattle is coming off a 21-7 home victory over the Vikings on Monday night.  The Seahawks are 8-and-5 and appear poised to make the playoffs as a Wild Card.  The 49ers are 3-and-10 after beating Denver 20-14 last Sunday.



(Washington County, OR)  --  A former Oregon Ducks player is back in jail.  This time Colt Lyerla is facing a heroin possession charge.  He was previously arrested in 2013 for cocaine possession and in 2017 for using counterfeit money.  He escaped from a work release center while serving his sentence.



(Las Vegas, NV)  --  Mariners manager Scott Servais said the team is going a different direction next season at the baseball winter meetings in Vegas.   After winning 89 games last year, Seattle won't have Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz, Jean Segura, James Paxton and Edwin Diaz next season.  General manager Jerry Dipoto has dealt nine key players in six trades this off-season for prospects and younger players.  Felix Hernandez and Kyle Seager are the only remaining players from the team Servais took over in 2016.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks scored 18 points in the fourth quarter to break open a 3-0 game and beat the Vikings 21-7 on Monday Night Football in Seattle.  Chris Carson had a two-yard touchdown run and Justin Coleman returned a fumble 29 yards for a score as Seattle won its fourth straight to move to 8-and-5.  Minnesota has lost three-of-four to fall to 6-6-and-1.



(Undated)  --  The Ducks will be back in action tomorrow night when they host San Diego.  Oregon is 5-and-3 and coming off a 84-61 win over Nebraska Omaha.  After falling 65-61 on the road to Saint Louis on Sunday, 6-and-2 Oregon State will be back at home against Texas A&M on Saturday.  Portland will host Grambling State on Saturday.  Portland State will visit BYU tomorrow night.



(Houston, TX)  --  The Trail Blazers visit the Rockets tonight in Houston.  Portland is coming off a 113-105 win at home over Minnesota on Saturday.  The Blazers have won two-straight games and are hoping to build their streak.  Houston has lost three straight.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners have claimed former Angels first-round pick Kaleb Cowart off waivers.  Seattle plans to use Cowart as a two-way player in spring training akin to that of Angels' two-way player Shohei Ohtani.  Cowart can play across the infield along with the outfield and hasn't pitched in the minors or majors.  He was a top pitching prospect in high school in Georgia.
 



(Houston, TX)  --  The Trail Blazers will be back in action tomorrow night when they visit the Rockets in Houston.  The Trail Blazers picked up a 113-105 win at home over the Timberwolves on Saturday.  Portland has won two straight and is 15-and-11. 



(Atlanta, GA)  --  The Timbers will not be bringing home the MLS Cup to Portland.  They fell 2-0 to Atlanta United on Saturday.  Atlanta won the cup in just its second year in the MLS.



(St. Louis, MO)  --  Ethan Thompson scored 22 points and pulled down 11 rebounds for Oregon State in a 65-61 loss on the road against Saint Louis.  The Beavers had a three-game winning streak snapped and fell to 6-and-2.  They will host Texas A&M on Saturday.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seahawks will host the Vikings on Monday night football tonight.  The Seahawks have three-straight games and are in the driver's seat in the Wild Card mix at 7-and-5.  They are coming off a 43-16 win over the 49ers.  The Vikings are trying to make a playoff push as well at 6-5-and-1. 



(Undated)  --  Portland will return to the floor when they host Grambling State on Saturday.  The Pilots are 6-and-5.  Portland State will be back in action when they visit BYU on Wednesday night.  The Vikings are 5-and-3 and looking for their first road win.



(Undated)  --  Jeff Kingston resigned as assistant general manager of the Mariners to take the same position with the Los Angeles Dodgers on Sunday.  Kingston had been with the club since 2009, and was promoted to vice president and assistant GM in 2015.  Justin Hollander will fill his role for Seattle.



(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers will attempt to take down Atlanta United FC and bring another MLS Cup to Portland.  The two sides meet tomorrow in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium  The Timbers and Atlanta played to a 1-1 tie on June 24th in Georgia for their only meeting in the regular season. The Timbers advanced to the finals by beating Sporting KC, Seattle and Dallas in the postseason. 



(Portland, OR)  --  Damian Lillard scored 25 points and Jake Layman contributed a career-high 24 points as the Trail Blazers crushed the Suns 108-86 at the Moda Center.  Portland snapped a three-game skid and had lost six of its previous seven.  The Blazers played without starting guard CJ McCollum, who has a sprained left ankle.  The Blazers are home again tomorrow night against Minnesota.



(Undated)  --  In area college basketball,  Tomorrow: the Oregon Ducks will attempt to end a two-game slide when they play UN-Omaha in Eugene and the Portland Pilots will host Sacramento State.  Sunday:  The 6-and-1 Oregon State Beavers return to action at Saint Louis against the 6-and-2 Billikens.



(Renton, WA)  --  Seahawks linebacker was named the team's nominee for the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award.  The prestigious award recognizes a player's charitable actions within the community and on-field success.  Wright is one of 32 nominees from across the league and the winner will be announced during 'NFL Honors' the night before Super Bowl 53.
 



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks are getting ready to face the Vikings on Monday night football.  Starting left tackle Duane Brown was a new face on the injury report as he didn't practice as he suffers from an ankle injury.  Linebacker K.J. Wright and defensive end Dion Jordan didn't participate either. The Seahawks are 7-and-5 and in the driver's seat in the Wild Card race.  The Vikings are 6-5-and-1 and also in the mix for the Wild Card while just two games back of the Chicago Bears in the NFC North.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The Seattle NHL expansion franchise will have a name by June, according to the Puget Sound Business Journal.  Seattle was awarded the league's 32nd franchise after a unanimous vote from the Board of Governors on Tuesday.
 



(Eugene, OR)  --  The NCAA put Oregon's athletic department on probation for two years.  They announced several infractions by men's basketball coach Dana Altman, multiple-infractions involving women's basketball and coach Kelly Graves, plus academic misconduct with a track athlete having a grade change.  The university released a statement disagreeing with the conclusions and may appeal.  Graves must serve a two-game suspension during the season.



(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers will attempt to take down Atlanta United FC and bring another MLS Cup to Portland.  The two sides meet Saturday in Atlanta at Mercedes-Benz Stadium  The Timbers and Atlanta played to a 1-1 tie on June 24 in Georgia for their only meeting in the regular season. The Timbers advanced to the finals by beating Sporting KC, Seattle and Dallas in the postseason. 



(Portland, OR)  --  The slumping Trail Blazers will host the Phoenix Suns tonight at Moda Center.  While Portland has lost eight of its last 11, the Suns are 4-and-20, the worst record in the NBA.  The Suns will likely be without leading scorer Devin Booker, who has a hamstring strain.  The Blazers are 8-and-4 at home this season.



(Undated)  --  Last night: Portland State beat Portland University 87-78 at Viking Pavilion. Saturday: The Oregon Ducks will attempt to end a two-game slide when they play Omaha in Eugene.  Sunday:  The 6-and-1 Oregon State Beavers return to action at Saint Louis.



(Dallas, TX)  --  Damian Lillard scored 33 points, 25 in the last half, but the Trail Blazers could not overcome the Mavericks in a 111-102 loss in Dallas.  C.J. McCollum had 18 points in defeat.  Portland has lost six of its last seven.  The Trail Blazers return home tomorrow night to host the Phoenix Suns.

(Undated)  --  The Oregon Ducks will open their 2019 football season on August 31st against Auburn at AT@T Stadium in Arlington.  Oregon will play home non-conference September games against Nevada and Montana before opening Pac-12 play on September 21st at Stanford.  The Ducks will close out the regular season on November 30th against Oregon State in Eugene.  The Beavers will kickoff their season on August 30th against Oklahoma State in Corvallis.  OSU will play September 7th at Hawaii and host Cal Poly on September 14th to wrap up its non-conference schedule.  The Beavers will host Stanford on September 28th in its Pac-12 opener.

(Undated)  --  Oregon State running back Jermar Jefferson is the Pac-12 offensive freshman of the year.  He rushed for a school record 1,380 yards.  He ranked eighth nationally in rushing yards and led all freshmen.  Oregon Ducks senior defensive lineman Jalen Jelks earned first team as voted on by the league's coaches.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The 7-and-5 Seahawks are rolling into their game against the Vikings on Monday night.  Seattle is coming off a 43-16 rout of the 49ers and are in the mix for a Wild Card spot.  The Rams clinched the NFC West this past week.  Minnesota is 6-5-and-1 after a 24-10 loss to the Patriots.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The NHL Board of Governors unanimously voted to award Seattle its own NHL franchise on Tuesday.  The Seattle franchise will be the 32nd team in the league and will begin play in the Pacific Division in the 2021-22 season.
 



(Los Angeles, CA)  --  Former Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner was sentenced to eight years in prison after pleading no contest to one count of attempted murder and two counts of willful child endangerment, according to TMZ.  Browner was arrested on multiple charges after breaking into the house of his ex-girlfriend in July.



(Dallas, TX)  --  The Trail Blazers will face the Mavericks tonight in Dallas.  Portland has lost five of its last seven.  The Mavs have won their last seven home games.  Portland is 0-and-10 this season when trailing entering the fourth quarter.



(Undated)  --  The Oregon Ducks will take on the Michigan State Spartans in the Redbox Bowl on December 31st in Santa Clara.  Oregon finished with an 8-and-4 record and 5-and-4 in the Pac-12.  Michigan State finished with a 7-and-5 and 5-and-4 in Big Ten play.



(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers will attempt to take down Atlanta United FC and bring another MLS Cup to Portland.  The two sides meet in Atlanta on Saturday.  The Timbers notched a 3-2 victory over Sporting KC to claim the Western Conference Championship.  Atlanta United FC eliminated the New York Red Bulls to win the Eastern Conference Championship.
 



(Corvallis, OR)  --  Junior college defensive tackle Jordan Whittley announced on his Twitter account he has committed to Oregon State.  He is listed at 6-foot-2 and 320 pounds out of Laney College in Richmond, California.  He chose the Beavers over offers from Hawaii, New Mexico, San Diego State, San Jose State, UAB and Central Florida.

(Seattle, WA)  --  The Mariners announced they are sending shortstop Jean Segura and relievers Juan Nicasio and James Pazos to the Phillies for infielder J.P. Crawford and first baseman Carlos Santana.  Seattle has been one of the most active in Major League Baseball as it continues to ship out players from this past season's roster.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks are set to host the Vikings on Monday night football.  The Hawks are coming off a big 43-18 win over the 49ers and have put themselves firmly in the Wild Card mix at 7-and-5.  The Los Angeles Rams clinched the NFC West on Sunday.  The Vikings fell 24-10 to the Patriots in New England and are two wins back of the Bears in the NFC North.



(Seattle, WA)  --  The mega-deal sending second baseman Robinson Cano and closer Edwin Diaz to the New York Mets has been finalized.  In return, the Mariners received outfielder Jay Bruce and pitchers Anthony Swarzak and Gerson Bautista, plus prospects Justin Dunn and Jarred Kelenic.  The Mariners are also sending the Mets 20 million dollars to help offset the cost of Cano's contract.



(San Antonio, TX)  --  Damian Lillard scored 37 points and had 10 assists as the Trail Blazers fell 131-118 to the Spurs in San Antonio.  C.J. McCollum had 24 in the loss.  Portland has lost five-of-seven.  They will face the Mavericks in Dallas tomorrow night.



(Undated)  --  The Oregon Ducks will take on the Michigan State Spartans in the Redbox Bowl in Santa Clara.  Oregon finished the season with an 8-and-4 record and a 7-and-5 mark in conference.  Michigan State finished the season with a 7-and-5 mark in Big Ten play.
 



(Portland, OR)  --  The Timbers will attempt to take down Atlanta United FC and bring another MLS Cup to Portland.  The Timbers notched a 3-2 victory over Sporting KC to claim the Western Conference Championship.  Atlanta United FC eliminated the New York Red Bulls to win the Eastern Conference Championship.  The two sides meet in Atlanta on Saturday.



(Seattle, WA)  --  Russell Wilson threw for 185 yards and four touchdowns as the Seahawks cruised to a 43-18 win over the 49ers in Richard Sherman's return to Seattle.  Jaron Brown had 67 yards and two touchdown receptions in the win.  Tyler Lockett and Doug Baldwin each caught a TD as well.  Bobby Wagner led the team with 12 tackles and added an interception as Seattle has won three-straight games.



(Undated)  --  Number-21 Oregon fell 65-61 to Houston on the road over the weekend while Oregon State picked up a 101-77 victory over Missouri State at home.  Oregon will host Nebraska Omaha on Saturday.  Oregon State will travel to face Saint Louis on Sunday.  Portland will visit Portland State on Wednesday night.



(Renton, WA)  --  The Seahawks will get back out on the practice field this week as they get ready to host the Vikings on Monday night.  Seattle plays three of its next four at home.  With the Rams having clinched the NFC West, the Seahawks hold a lead for the final Wild Card spot in the NFC at 7-and-5.
