The OSAA On-Point Community Credit Union boy’s soccer playoffs kicked off yesterday and as expected, 2nd ranked Summit defeated Liberty 2-1 to advance to Saturday’s 2nd Round hosting South Eugene.
Ridgeview advances to the 5A Quarterfinals with their 4-1 over Eagle Point. The Ravens travel to face top-rated La Salle.
And, the Madras boy’s advance in the 4A playoffs with 3-1 win over McLoughlin High from Milton-Freewater. The Buffs host Newport Saturday.
The 6A Girl’s soccer playoffs continue today with second-round action for Summit who travels to meet #8 West Salem and Bend visits top-ranked Jesuit. Elsewhere, Ridgeview entertains Silverton today at 5p.

Both are in concussion protocol and have not practiced this week. Hebert has completed 60 percent of his passes for more than 2,000 yards and 20 touchdowns. Mitchell leads the Ducks with 48 receptions for 677 yards. Braxton Burmeister and Tyler Shough are taking snaps with the Ducks first team and would play in Hebert's absence.

He was a pole vaulter and basketball player at Oregon State in the early 1940s. He met his wife Nancy at Oregon State. Both entered the United States Navy in 1943. He is prohibited from transferring to any Big Ten school, future NU non-conference foes through 2021 and Oregon State.
